Montana 600 features a vast 4 in., sunlight-readable touchscreen display that offers crystal clear enhanced colors and displays high-resolution images. Its easy-to-use interface means you’ll spend more time enjoying the outdoors and less time searching for information. Both durable and waterproof, Montana is built to withstand the elements. Bumps, dust, dirt, humidity and water are no match for this rugged navigator. Adding more maps is easy with Garmin's wide array of detailded topographic, marine and road maps. With its microSD card slot, Montana lets you load topo U.S. 24K maps and hit the trail, plug in BlueChart g2 preloaded cards for a great day on the water or City Navigator map date for turn-by-turn routing on roads. The Inspector Xtreme is designed specifically for individuals operating in tough environments, such as 1st Responders, miners, and HAZMAT crews. The unit is a small, handheld, microprocessor-based instrument which offers excellent sensitivity to low levels of alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays. The digital readout is displayed with a red count light and a beeper sounds with each count detected. Other features include an adjustable timer, external calibration controls, and selectable alert. Display will update every 3 seconds. At low background levels, the update is the moving average for the past 30-second time period. The timed period for the moving average decreases as the radiation level increases.
Energy Sensitivity: Detects Alpha down to 2 MeV. Detects Beta down to .16 MeV; typical detection efficiency at 1 MeV is approx. 25%. Detects Gamma down to 10 KeV through the end window. 3340 CPM/mR/hr (Cs137). Smallest detectable level for I125 is .02 µCi at contact.
Operating Range:
| mR/hr - .001 (1µR) to 100 |
CPM - 0 to 350,000 |
| µSv/hr - .01 to 1000 |
CPS - 0 to 5000 |
| Total/ Timer - 1 to 9,999,000 counts |
Accuracy: mR/hr ±10% typical (NIST), ±15% max - 0 to 100
µSv/hr ±10% typical (NIST), ±15% max - .01 - 1000
CPM ±15% max - 0 to 350,000
(Referenced to Cs-137)

The ultimate navigational tool – combining a patented electronic rangefinder, a digital compass, and a digital quartz crystal chronometer in a compact, waterproof unit. As a rangefinder, the DataScope uses known heights and relative size to determine range. In compass mode, it stores up to 9 bearings and times of bearings in memory for later recall or to determine delta in bearing and time between the bearings. The chronometer mode displays time of day, stores the time at which each bearing is taken, and computes time difference between consecutive bearings. Results are displayed in the scope’s viewfinder, so you never have to take your eyes off your target. The DataScope is gimbaled for tilt angles up to ±20° while maintaining accuracy. The unit features an illuminated viewfinder for night viewing; a 5x30 roof prism monocular with permanent focus, fully coated lenses; rubber buttons and grips for slip-free hold, even when wet; and a built-in rubber eye cup which folds down for use with glasses. Unit: Temperature range: -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C). Power: Three 3V lithium batteries (included) provide a life of 6 months to 1 year. Low battery: automatic indicator. Dimensions: 4.5" x 1.7" x 2.4".
